What we use and why

Email signups: we collect your email address to send the free activity PDF and occasional emails about new Rova Mova books and activities, based on your consent when you subscribe. Brevo records subscription details, including the time and form used, and may process technical and email-delivery information to operate and protect the service. Providing an email address is optional; without it we cannot email you the PDF.

We keep your subscriber details while you remain subscribed. You can withdraw consent using the unsubscribe link in any marketing email or by contacting us. This does not affect earlier processing. After you unsubscribe, we keep the minimum information needed on a do-not-contact list for as long as we operate our email marketing, to meet our legal obligation to respect your opt-out.

Contact messages: we use your email address and message to answer your enquiry, based on our legitimate interest in responding to you. For data-rights requests, we also rely on our legal obligations. We keep enquiries until they are answered and any requested follow-up is complete. We keep complaint and rights-request records until the matter and any appeal are resolved, unless a longer period is required by law.

Technical information: our hosting provider may process your IP address and browser details to deliver and secure the website. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in providing a functioning, secure website.

Service providers

OpenAI hosts this website through ChatGPT Sites. Its Privacy Policy explains its technical-data retention and international processing. We use Brevo to collect signups, store subscriber details and send emails. Its privacy information explains its processing and international-transfer arrangements. Email delivery and inbox providers also handle messages you send to our contact address.

Grown-ups only

The email form is for adults. Please do not enter a child’s personal information.

Your rights and complaints

You can contact us to request access, correction or deletion of your information, restriction of its use, or a portable copy where applicable. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests.

Send privacy complaints to hello@rovamova.com. We will acknowledge them within 30 days, investigate and explain the outcome. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
